Terms of Service
Last updated 7 November 2026
Contents
These terms are the agreement between you and Kalsenti Limited (“Kalsenti”, “we”, “us”) for using kalsenti.ai, the Kalsenti dashboard and chat, and the Kalsenti API (together, the “service”). Please read them before you create an account or add credit. Our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Cookie Policy also apply.
If you’re using Kalsenti for a business, “you” means both you and that business, and you confirm you can accept these terms for it. Some parts of these terms apply differently to consumers and to business customers, and we say where they do.
The main points
- You must be 18 or over to use Kalsenti, and you can’t use it if you live in, or are using it from, the European Union or European Economic Area.
- Kalsenti runs on prepaid credit. New accounts start with a balance of $0, and each request is paid for from your balance at the prices shown on each model’s page.
- Payments are processed by Stripe and sold by Onelink (Sold Through Link, LLC) as merchant of record. Onelink’s own terms apply to the purchase, and Onelink sends your receipt.
- When you add credit, you ask us to make it available straight away. Once you start using credit you’ve added, you lose your right to cancel that purchase. We email you to confirm this.
- If you close your account, any credit left in it is forfeited and won’t be refunded. We show you your balance before you close it, so you can use it first.
- Replies come from AI models. They can be wrong, and they aren’t professional advice.
About us and how to contact us
Kalsenti Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17555690. Our registered office is 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. [VAT NUMBER, IF REGISTERED]
The way to reach us about anything, including support, complaints, cancellations and legal notices, is by email at [email protected]. We’ll contact you at the email address on your account, and you should keep it up to date.
Who can use Kalsenti
To create an account and use the service you must:
- be 18 or over. We ask you to confirm this when you sign up;
- not live in, or use the service from, any country of the European Union or the European Economic Area (the 27 EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). This applies to personal and business accounts alike. We ask for your country when you sign up and check the billing country of your payments;
- not be in a country we or our payment providers can’t serve, or be a person we’re not allowed to deal with under sanctions law; and
- give us accurate information, and keep it accurate.
If we find that you don’t meet these conditions, we’ll close your account under “Closing your account”. We may ask you to show that you meet them.
Some models, including uncensored models, require you to verify your identity before you can use them. Stripe runs the check, using a photo ID and a live selfie. You can start one after you’ve added credit at least once, and you have up to 3 attempts in 30 days. Our Privacy Policy explains what’s collected and kept. If you can’t do a selfie check, email [email protected] to ask for a manual review. We may withdraw a verification if we believe it was given in error or the account is being misused, and those models then stop being available to you.
What the service is
Kalsenti gives you access to a range of AI models, which you can use in two ways:
- Chat, in your dashboard. Replies are generated by the AI model you choose, and the chat tells you so. Where a model supports it, the model can decide to search the web to answer you, and the pages it used are shown with the reply. Search results are filtered, but they come from third-party websites we don’t control.
- The API, for developers. You create API keys in your dashboard and send requests to the models from your own software. The API accepts the request formats described in our documentation.
Each model’s page shows its price, the region where it’s hosted, and how long its host keeps prompts and replies. The models we offer will change over time: we may add models, change their prices or withdraw them. We’ll show any price change on the model’s page before it applies to new requests.
Saved chats are encrypted on your device before they’re stored, so we can’t read them. To produce a reply, your messages and any documents you attach still pass through our systems and the model’s host, and search queries go to search engines. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full. If you lose your key phrase and every device that can open your chats, we can’t recover your saved chats.
To use the service you need a current version of a major web browser with JavaScript enabled. Passkeys are optional and need a device that supports them. To use the API you need software that can send HTTPS requests in one of the supported formats.
Your account
You can sign up with an email address and password, or with GitHub or Google. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details, backup codes, key phrase and API keys safe, and for everything done with your account or keys. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used them.
Accounts are for one person. A business can use the service through its staff, but each person needs their own account. You must not sell, share or transfer your account.
Prepaid credit and prices
Kalsenti runs on prepaid credit held in US dollars. New accounts start with a balance of $0, and we don’t give free credit. You can add between $5 and $500 at a time.
Each request is charged to your balance when it finishes, based on the tokens it used and the model’s price on its page at the time. A reply that’s running has an estimated amount set aside from your balance until it finishes, and anything not used is released. Some things count as part of a reply’s cost, such as the summary of earlier messages that’s made when a chat grows very long. Web search is currently included at no extra charge, up to a daily limit. If we start charging for it, we’ll show the price before it applies.
If a request fails because of a fault on our side, you won’t be charged for it. If a reply stops partway, you pay for what was produced.
Credit can only be used on Kalsenti. It has no cash value, can’t be transferred to another account and doesn’t earn interest. It doesn’t expire while your account is open.
If a payment is refunded or reversed, for example after a chargeback, we take the matching credit off your balance, even if this leaves it below zero. You’ll need to bring it back above zero before you can make more requests.
Paying: Stripe and Onelink
Payments are taken through Stripe Checkout. Credit is sold to you by Sold Through Link, LLC, trading as Onelink, a Stripe affiliate, which is the merchant of record for your purchase. That means:
- Onelink is the seller on your payment, and it calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax for your location. The total, including any tax, is shown at checkout before you pay. [CONFIRM WHETHER TAX IS ADDED ON TOP OF THE CREDIT AMOUNT OR INCLUDED IN IT]
- Onelink sends your receipt and any tax invoice. Your card statement will show a Onelink or Link descriptor.
- Your purchase is also covered by the Sold Through Onelink Terms, and Onelink handles questions about the payment itself, including refunds it agrees to make. Nothing in these terms reduces any right you have under those terms or under the law.
- We provide the service you’re paying for, and these terms govern how you use it and your credit.
Your credit is added to your balance once the payment clears.
Your right to cancel a purchase
If you’re a consumer, the law usually gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For credit that’s made available to you straight away, that right works like this:
At checkout we ask you to tick a box to:
- ask us to make your credit available immediately, within the 14-day cancellation period; and
- acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once you start using that credit.
We then email you to confirm your consent and acknowledgement. This follows regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Before you use any of it, you can cancel a top-up within 14 days of buying it by emailing [email protected], and we’ll arrange a full refund through Onelink. Once any request has been charged against that credit, you can no longer cancel it. This doesn’t affect your other rights if the service is faulty: see “Our responsibility to you”.
Business customers don’t have a statutory right to cancel.
Using the service properly
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short, you must not use Kalsenti for anything illegal or harmful, to create sexual content, or to get around our safeguards.
Adult and sexual content isn’t offered on Kalsenti and isn’t allowed. We use automated filters on every request, on every model, including uncensored ones, and on replies in private chat. When a filter stops a request or a reply, you see a short notice instead. Repeated blocked requests can automatically pause your access to chat and the API for a while, and serious or repeated misuse can lead to suspension or closure.
We may set and change reasonable limits, such as how many requests, tokens or searches you can make in a period, to keep the service working for everyone.
API and business use
If you use the API, or build Kalsenti into your own product or service:
- you’re responsible for your software, your users and what they do with it, and for making sure they follow our Acceptable Use Policy;
- you must tell your own users clearly when they’re interacting with an AI system, and when content they see was generated by AI, unless that’s obvious from the context;
- you must not offer the service to anyone under 18, or to anyone in the EU or EEA, through your product;
- you must not make uncensored models available to your users unless we’ve agreed it in writing and any verification we require has been completed;
- you must not resell access to Kalsenti as a stand-alone service, or present yourself as Kalsenti, without our written agreement; and
- you’re responsible for your own legal obligations to your users, including privacy notices and any lawful basis for sending their personal data to us.
Keep your API keys secret. Anyone with a key can spend your credit. You can revoke and replace keys from your dashboard at any time, and some key actions ask you to confirm who you are first.
[IF BUSINESS CUSTOMERS SEND END USERS’ PERSONAL DATA THROUGH THE API, A DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT IS NEEDED. LINK IT HERE ONCE IT EXISTS.]
Your content and AI output
You keep any rights you have in what you send us (“input”). As between you and us, you own what the models produce for you (“output”), to the extent the law allows anyone to own it. You give us permission to handle your input and output only as needed to provide the service, keep it secure and meet our legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t use your chats or API requests to train AI models.
You must have the rights to anything you send, and you must not send content that breaks the law or someone else’s rights.
Output is generated by AI and can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or offensive. Different people can get similar output. Check anything important before you rely on it. Output isn’t legal, medical, financial, security or other professional advice. Search results come from third-party websites, and we don’t check or endorse them.
Our responsibility to you
If you’re a consumer: we must provide the service with reasonable care and skill, and any digital content as described and of satisfactory quality, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. If we don’t, you may be entitled to have the problem put right or to a price reduction. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights.
For everyone: we don’t exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to exclude.
Subject to that, we’re not responsible for loss or damage that wasn’t foreseeable when you accepted these terms, for loss caused by your breach of these terms, or for events outside our reasonable control, such as a failure of a model host, search engine or network that we couldn’t reasonably have prevented. If you’re a consumer, we’re not responsible for business losses, as the service is provided to you for private use.
If you’re a business customer: to the extent the law allows, we provide the service “as is”, without implied warranties about its fitness for a particular purpose, and we’re not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid for credit in those 12 months.
You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses we suffer because of claims from others caused by your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. If you’re a consumer, this only applies to the extent the law allows.
Suspending your access
We may restrict or suspend your account, an API key or access to particular models, with or without notice depending on how urgent it is, if we reasonably believe:
- you’ve broken these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- your use puts the service, other people or us at risk, or is unlawful;
- we need to investigate suspected fraud, misuse or a security incident; or
- the law, a court or a regulator requires it.
Where we can, we’ll tell you why and how to put it right. An automatic pause after repeated blocked requests lifts on its own after a short time. We may also pause the service briefly for maintenance or urgent repairs.
Closing your account
If you close your account, any credit left in your balance is forfeited. It won’t be refunded and can’t be moved to another account.
- Your balance is shown in your dashboard at all times, and again on the closing screen before you confirm.
- You can use your remaining credit before you close your account.
- If you’re within 14 days of a top-up you haven’t used any of, you can still cancel it under “Your right to cancel a purchase” before closing.
You can close your account at any time from your dashboard settings, or by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account. There’s no minimum period.
When we close your account: we may close it if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if you don’t meet the conditions in “Who can use Kalsenti”, if the law requires it, or if we stop providing the service. Unless it’s urgent or the law prevents it, we’ll give you notice and a chance to respond. If we close your account for a reason that isn’t your fault, including if we stop the service, we’ll refund your unused credit. If we close it because of fraud, illegal activity or a serious breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, we may keep the amount needed to cover the losses your breach caused us.
When an account is closed, we delete your chats, sessions and API keys, which stop working straight away. We keep payment and usage records for 6 years, with your identity removed, as our Privacy Policy explains.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change these terms, for example to reflect changes to the service, the law or how we run our business. If a change materially affects you, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don’t accept a change, you can stop using the service and close your account before it takes effect. If you carry on using the service after that, the new terms apply.
Price changes for models are shown on each model’s page before they apply to new requests, and never apply to requests already made.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with anything, please email [email protected]. We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. We aren’t a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme. For complaints about how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
General terms and governing law
These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If a court decides part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and we’ll tell you if we do; if you’re a consumer, this won’t reduce your rights. Nobody else has rights under these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you’re a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and if you live elsewhere you keep any protection your local law gives you that can’t be excluded by agreement.
These terms are written in English, and the English version applies even if you view the site in another language.
